Eating healthy is very important.
Having a healthy diet is the number one thing to do if you want to be fit, healthy and vital. But what do you do when you just do not have the time to prepare a healthy and nutritious meal? Do you throw yourself to junk food just because you have no time to prepare something yourself?
You already know that one of the secrets of being fit is always preparing your own meals. Even if you decide to treat yourself with something that is more loaded with calories, always prepare it yourself.
Here is a meal suggestion that you can implement whenever you do not have the time for preparation, as it takes no more than 2 minutes from your time. The meal consists of only two ingredients, cheese and fruit.
Just take an apple and wrap 1 to 2 ounces of cheese, toss 1/4 cup of fiber protein rich walnuts, and that is it. It is easy to assemble, nutritious and you can eat it in the car while driving to work, you can eat it while walking and almost anywhere.
The great thing about this meal is that it is a great substitute for a whole meal,
but it does not take a lot of time and money to make it, and most importantly, it is not something that has no nutritional values.
Also, you can get extremely creative with these types of meals. Anytime you are in a hurry, just grab an orange, an apple, a tangerine, or a carrot, a tomato and so on. The options are limitless, as long as you pick a fruit or a vegetable (or both), that are uncooked so that you get all the benefits from it.
And when it comes to cheese, I would suggest trying eating goat white or yellow cheese, as it is much healthier than cheese made from cow’s or sheep’s milk.
Goat cheese is a good nutritional choice, since it is lower in fat and calories than cow’s milk cheese. It is a metabolism booster, good for your brain and is higher in calcium than cow’s milk cheese.
In addition to that, you can add some nuts into your plastic bag for they are loaded with vitamins and minerals that you need for the day.
So, next time you are in a hurry, do not buy just buy some junk foods, be creative and prepare your 3 minute meal that will keep you fit and healthy.
