For many people, dehydration leads to dry skin. If your body does not have enough water, it begins restricting water supply to different organs.

Your muscles need a constant supply of hydration to work properly and continue growing. If your muscles seem to cramp very quickly after exercise or if they cramp in the absence of exercise, it may be because they are not getting enough water. Muscle cramps due to dehydration can also be affected by heat, changes in electrolyte levels, and potassium levels in the body. It’s important to drink plenty of water if you are spending time in the heat or if you are performing tough exercises, but you should also drink water throughout the day to keep your body’s hydration up.
Drinking More Water
Now that you see how severely dehydration can affect your body, what are you going to do about it? If you don’t like the taste of water, it can be extremely difficult to make yourself drink the amount of water your body needs.
Consider getting some flavor in your water with fresh fruit. Strawberries, kiwi slices, blueberries, and other sweet fruits can give your water a little bit of a natural flavor boost.
It is also helpful to use marked water bottles. There are some reusable water bottles that are marked with different times on the side. By hitting specified levels by the time on the bottle, you can feel confident that you are getting the water you need to avoid dehydration.
