Turmeric Smoothie: So Tasty You Won’t Believe It Has One Of The Most Powerful Antioxidants In The World


Most common component of the Indian cuisine is turmeric.

This herb contains an active compound named curcumin which has a number of beneficial health properties, including antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antioxidant and antitumor effects.

Long time has been used by Indian people as a remedy for treating stomach and liver issues.


This is extremely beneficial for liver health because it participates in liver detoxification by stimulating the enzymes that actively take part in the elimination of carcinogenic substances.

It is important to use organic ingredients only and do not substitute coconut or hemp milk with actual milk. Use almond milk if necessary.

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 cup hemp or coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple or mango chunks
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric (can be increased to 1 tsp)
  • 1 fresh banana
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon maca (optional)

How to make it (instructions):

You need to put the ingredients in a blender and mix until you get smooth and homogenous mixture. Consume every morning on an empty stomach.
