Everyone knows about palm reading. We all tried to read each other’s palms throughout grade school, pretty much unsuccessfully.
The only thing I remember now is my life line, and thank goodness it’s still pretty long (knock on wood).
But there are some that believe you can look beyond your palm to reveal more about your life than just how long you’ll live. One digit will tell you everything you need to know about your love life.
It’s the reason we can write, the reason we can build—heck, the reason we’re at the top of the food chain.
You should already be in love with this darling digit, but turns out it loves you right back! So much so that your thumb holds the key to telling you everything you need to know about your love life.

The top half is bigger than the bottom half
When you fall, you fall HARD! And you should have a broken nose from all the times that you’ve fallen in love.
Once in a relationship, that person is your whole world. If they need you, you’re there. If they don’t, you’re still there, with cookies, and their favorite movie set up on Netflix.
It’s really sweet, but be careful you don’t scare that person away with all your love and attention. You may begin to be a bit obsessive about where they are and what they’re doing, so try to dial it back and remember: they’ve chosen to be with you. Create that perfect balance and you’ll have that perfect relationship you’ve worked so hard to find!

Both halves are equal
Even thumb means even-headed. You are a calm and reasonable person when it comes to relationships, so no drama here if you can help it! Instead, once you’re in a relationship your biggest success—and sometimes your biggest failure—is setting goals. You have a plan, and you have to stick to that plan. If your partner doesn’t like it, too bad.
This can be a pitfall for relationships, especially when coupled with your level head, which often means you aren’t overly emotional. I mean, they went on a trip for a month but you know they’re coming back, so why freak out when they return? Well, maybe cause they won’t be convinced you even care! Try to imagine your life without the person, and use that emotion for help in your relationship. After all, plans aren’t any good if you don’t have anyone to share them with.
Your bottom half is bigger than your top half
You are a classic observer. You watch others to see what a relationship should look like, where others make mistakes, and what you want in your partner.
This is awesome, because once you’ve found someone it increases the likelihood that you’ve found “the one.”
But observing can have its downfalls too. It can cause you to question yourself before diving into a relationship, and you could miss out on some great chances with great people.
It can also mean that you take relationships very, VERY slowly. This can become frustrating for your partner who thinks maybe it’s time to move in after five years of dating.
So ideally, you’ll find someone who can help you let go of all your worries and your strife (yes, I just quoted “Bare Necessities”).
