New Study Reveals That Papaya Leaf May Be a Powerful Anti-cancer Food


Other than being famous for their vibrant orange fruit, papaya trees are becoming more popular lately because of several studies which are showing that papaya leaf extract can slow down cancer cell growth.

A recent study documented the impact of papaya leaf extract working against cancer. The findings showed that when a cancerous tumor was exposed to the papaya leaf extract, the growth was slowed down substantially.  However, the extract is not a cure per se. It has the ability to slow down cancer growth without the negative side effects of chemotherapy.

During the research, 10 different types of cancer including lung, breast, pancreatic, liver and cervix cancer were exposed to the papaya leaf extract and in every single case; the extract slowed the growth of the tumors. Even more, the larger the dose of papaya leaf extract was, the stronger the anticancer effects were.

This is great news for the millions of people who are suffering from cancer directly or indirectly on a daily basis. Mountains of money are being thrown towards research for cancer cures, but to this day, cancer remains an incurable disease.
