Woman’s iPhone Saves Her Life In Vegas Shooting

A lady caught up within the horrific occasions in Las Vegas on Sunday evening was miraculously saved by her cell phone which blocked one of many shooter’s bullets.

The unnamed girl was in a taxi on her approach residence from the Route 91 competition the place Stephen Paddock shot at crowds of people that have been having fun with dwell nation music.

Based on the publish on Twitter, the girl instructed the taxi driver what had occurred, took a photograph and it has since discovered its approach on-line.

No information about the woman has been published and she remains anonymous but thankfully alive.

64-year-old Paddock stationed himself on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel which overlooked the packed festival, and carried out an 11-minute shooting spree from a smashed window, leaving 59 people dead and more than 500 injured.

It has gone down as the deadliest shooting in modern US history.

Earlier, leaked images showing Paddock’s body lying in the hotel room, with a note placed close by, made their way online.

He can be seen surrounded by an assortment of weapons and shell casings including a bipod mounted rifle by his feet as well as a blood stained revolver lying close by.

On a nearby side table, there appears to be a note which could perhaps offer an insight into Paddock’s thinking before the massacre took place.

Police said they are trying to establish a motive as to why the 64-year-old property developer carried out the attack.

They hope to find answers from Paddock’s girlfriend, Marilou Danley, who was out of the country at the time of the shooting but has returned to the United States to be interviewed.

Danley’s sisters have spoken out during an emotional interview.

Her sisters told Yahoo 7 News they weren’t expecting her visit and while breaking down in tears on camera, one sister, who did not wish to be named, said Danley ‘doesn’t know anything like us’, adding:

She was sent away. She was away so that she will not be there to interfere with what he’s planning.

She didn’t even know that she was going to the Philippines until Steve said, ‘Marilou, I found you a cheap ticket to the Philippines.’

In that sense I thank him for sparing my sister’s life, but that won’t be to compensate the 59 people’s lives.
